Foods cooked athigh temperature also inflict cellular damage. Deep-fried foods alongwith well-done beef steak, hamburgers, and bacon cause the formation of gene-mutatingheterocyclic amines.83,84 Even so-called healthy foods contain smallamounts of undesirable substances.85 Chlorophyllin is the modified, water-soluble formof chlorophyll that has been shown to have DNA protective and antioxidantproperties86-93* Chlorophyllin alsoquenches all major oxygen species and acts to protect mitochondria.93-95* Chlorophyllin with Zinc Capsules are standardized to provideconsistent amounts in each capsule and to contain very low (or no) amountsof free copper.
